Welcome to Cath Simard’s first dive into the world of youth with a web3 collectibles approach.

In 2023, Cath embarked on an eight-day solo trek to capture a remote lake in Tasmania, Australia, to create a composite photograph she’d had in mind
for a few years.

On this trip, she encountered many hardships, challenges, and opportunities.
The mental and physically demanding journey fueled deep self-reflection and essential life lessons.

The experience was so profound that it awakened in her this unconventional idea…

‘’Past Resonance’’ is a composite created during Cath’s trip in Tasmania. The foreground, lake, clouds, and mountains were all captured during the trek. Cath photographed the aurora on another one-week trip driving across the state. “Past Resonance” pays tribute to her inner child – embodying boldness, curiosity, creativity, perseverance, and a deep love for nature. It also celebrates her deep connection with Australia, a land where she rekindled her bond with the natural world and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and exploration.

The Book

Blue Hour Adventures: Australia! is a fictional children’s adventure book based on a true story.

Cath Simard, a renowned landscape composite photographer, has set on a solo adventure to capture the magnificent blue hour over a remote lake in Tasmania. During her 8-day trip, she encountered hardships, opportunities, and many tough decisions to make while combating the brutal weather and being cut off from the rest of the world.

This journey triggered profound self-reflection, teaching invaluable life lessons that became the source of inspiration for this book.

“No matter what happens during the rest of our time together, I want you to remember. Try to enjoy each piece of the journey (…) And remember how strong you are even when the climb is hard.”

The adventure begins when Iris, a young and curious girl, visits her aunt Blue in her secluded Canadian cabin. A glance at Blue’s travel photos and a magic coin whisks them away on a quest to capture the elusive blue hour at Sapphire lake in Australia.

Along the way, they experience different obstacles, unlocking their perseverance, tenacity, creativity, but most importantly, learning to embrace challenges and enjoy each piece of the journey.

Will they capture the photographs they hoped for?

We planted web3 easter eggs in the book as a token of appreciation for
the space. We hope you have fun discovering them.
